L'Officiel Turkey Vs. Vogue Turkey

Son zamanlarda aklımda dönüp duran bir konu var. Dünyanın en prestijli dergilerinin Türkiye edisyonlarına sahibiz fakat bunu sanırım boşa kullanmakta üstümüze de yok gibime geliyor. Bir kere şunu kabul edelim ki Vogue ile L'Officiel'i karşılaştırmayalım bile. Fakat ülkemizde bu bir şekilde tersine işliyor. En azından benim için. Kendi içimde gerçekten 'Neden artık Vogue Türkiye türk bir model kullanmıyor?' adlı savaşı vermekteyim. Sonra L'Officel'e bakıyorum ve derin bir OH! çekiyorum. Bu ay içinde aynı şeyler geçerli. Vogue Türkiye'de Toni Garrn, L'Officiel'de ise Ahu Yağtu var. Evet bir kıkırdama duyar gibiyim. Fakat kapaklara bakın sonra dönün kendinize gülün derim ben. Ahu yağtu'ya da L'Officiel'e de helal olsun!!

There is something I've been thinking of for a long time. We have the turkish editions of the best fashion magazines in the world but there is nobody like us to waste it. First of all, let's accept that we shouldn't compare L'Officiel and Vogue. But somehow it goes the opposite direction in our country. At least for me. I've been living a war inside of me called 'Why doesnt Vogue Turkey use a turkish model still?' and then I look at L'Officiel and I feel so relieved!!. It's the same feeling for this months issues. We have Toni Garrn in Vogue Turkey and Ahu Yağtu in L'Officiel. Yeah I hear a little bit of laughing. But check out the covers and then laugh at yourself. Go Ahu Yağtu and L'Officiel!!

'Vogue Türkiye Temmuz 2013 - Bette Franke'

Gözlerimizi bu ay Bette Franke'ye çeviriyoruz Vogue Türkiye Temmuz sayısında. Valentino Pre Fall '13 koleksiyonundan parçalar seçiliyor bu kapak için. Seçimler ise Konca Aykan'a ait. Benim yorumlarıma gelirsek, artık acilen Elle, Cosmopolitanvari kapaklardan vazgeçilsin. Dümdüz duran bir model aylardır. Vogue İtalya, Vogue Paris diyorum. Yaratıcılık diyorum. Umarım anlatabiliyorum ? 

We are turning our eyes to the Bette Franke for Vogue Turkey's July issue. Clothes are from Valentino Pre Fall '13 for this cover. Chosen by Konca Aykan. My comments for that cover, I hope they immediately give up from making covers like Elle or Cosmopolitan-ish covers. A model that just stand up straight for months. I'm saying creativity. I'm saying Vogue İtalia. Im saying Vogue Paris. I hope I can tell ?

'StyleStar Of The Week - Cara Delevingne'

Ülkemizde olan olaylardan ötürü herkeste, özellikle bloggerlarda bir sessizlik hakimdi. Ama susmak yerine sevdiğimiz şeyleri yaparak direnmek çok daha mantıklı gibime geliyor. Bu yüzden haydi başlıyoruz ! ve güzel bir bölümle. StyleStar Of The Week, yani her hafta medya dünyasından birisinin stilini incelediğim bir bölüm. Peki bu hafta konuğum kim mi ? Cara Delevingne ! Onun stili yok aslında. Söylediğine göre evde temiz ne varsa giyiyormuş. Güzelde yapıyor fakat bunu herkes uyduramaz tabi. Cara'nın stilini ben şöyle gözlemliyorum. Eğlenceli ! Çok hem de ! O parçaları belkide başkası giyse çok saçma duracak ama ona yakışıyor. Ama moda dünyasında şöylede bir laf vardır. 'Its all about the attitude' yani herşey giydiğiniz şeyde değil tavrınızda hareketlerinizde bitiyor. Ayrıca Cara sokakta ne kadar afacan, yaramaz, hınzır gözüksede kırmızı halıda gerçekten çok seksi parçalar giyiniyor. Sizce de öyle değil mi ?

Because of the things that is happening in my country, everybody especially bloggers were pretty quite. But I think standing with the things that we love to do makes more sense. Therefor here we start ! and with a good section. StyleStar Of The Week, so it's a section that I observe the styles of the celebrities. Allright Who's my next guess ? Cara Delevigne ! She does not have a style actually. what she says is she wears whatever is clean and that makes sense but not really so many people can make it. I observe her style like SO MUCH FUN ! A LOT OF FUN ! Maybe if somebody else would have wore that things, they may seem stupid. But there is a sentence in fashion world which is 'its all about the attitude'. That means it does not matter what you wear, its about how you feel and act like. Also even though Cara looks so wicked, naughty and childish in the street, she looks so sexy in the red carpets. Don't you think ?

'Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Fragrance'

Akdeniz rüzgarı bu yaz da başımızı Dolce & Gabbana'nın Light Blue kokusuyla döndüreceğe benziyor. Daha kokuyu koklamadan önce parfümün yıldızları başımızı döndürmüştü bile aslında. Yüksek belli beyaz bikinisiyle 50'li yıllara gönderme yapan bir Bianca Balti ve yakışıklılığıyla göz kamaştıran bir David Gandy. İtalyan adası Capri'de çekimleri yapılan bu parfüm taptaze ve bir o kadarda olgun kokusuyla bizi başka yerlere götürecek gibi. 

It looks like mediterranean winds will blow us away with Dolce & Gabbana's new fragrance Light Blue. Stars of the perfume already blew us away before we even smell the perfume. A Bianca Balti with high waisted white bikini sending messages to the 50's era and a David Gandy with his sexyness. Shooting was done in the italian island, Capri. I guess it'll take us somewhere else with its fresh and mature essence.
